HOW MUCH SYNTHRIOD?

What was your original diagnosis? A TSH of 0.016 is hyperthyroid (low TSH). Synthroid is for hypothyroid (high TSH). If that TSH is correct, you should be on Methimazole, not Synthroid. I have Graves Disease, am hyperthyroid, and just went from TSH of 0.02 to 0.39 in 30 days on 5 mg Methimazole.

Reading was about same 2 months ago, Was on 175 mcg Synthroid, dr. asst. dropped down to 150 mcg. Nothing was mentioned about Methimazole. Going back to dr. to see whats going on,, thanks
