About to start Prolia: What's your experience?

My doc said he does not want to prescribe Prolia for me.

Depending on DEXA scores and fracture history, the bone-builders are the best choice AND they work better if you have not taken Prolia or a bisphosphonate first, according to studies.

You can take Evenity after Forteo or Tymlos but not the other way around.

I chose Tymlos because the dose is adjustable and I ramped it up from 2 clicks to 7 over a few weeks to minimize side effects.

Tymlos and Forteo both have financial assistance programs if you meet eligibility requirements.

Thank you so much for sharing this information. I have read your comments before and you seem very well informed ! I sure wish I had known this over a year ago when I started Prolia. I appreciate all of the wisdom you send on. Thank you
