Yes, surgery went well. A little discomfort for about two weeks but has improved over the weeks. It is still a little delicate where the left arm of my reading glasses sits!
The Osia 2 was programmed and attached on 07/13 as planned. Fitting went well although I had to have the audiologist tone it down three times as it seemed a little “hot” for my taste. I think they forgot that I have always been able to hear though the left ear canal, just at much lower levels, so it’s not like I have to teach my brain anything new [outside of hearing always looking to learn though :o) ]
For me personally I do feel there is something still missing, but am going to give it a little more time. Day two of wearing the device I forgot, four times that it was there, and sent it hurtling through the air. Fortunately it survived each time and I have since managed to keep it attached.
Have you had your Osia fitted and preprogrammed?
