Hi Sue!
I follow your posts so I knew about your preferring these. I have done NAC, same dosage, about 10 years, before I even knew I had any of this! I started the saline after both you and Nan recommended and have been doing the sublingual glutathione(does it do anything, who knows???)
I feel so good most days I think they must have all this wrong and then I have a rough day and think I may not be around in a year! My CT's and bronch results are indisputable tho....
I feel I am not good at airway clearance because very little happens. I have tried multiple techniques and devices. I continue to do them daily though.
This forum is SO helpful and we are so thankful for people like you and Nan for great input!!!

Thank you Kathleen - posts like yours warm my heart. When I was diagnosed, the people here on Connect were my lifeline, so it feels wonderful to be helpful to others.

I am a research geek, so finding answers is what I love to do. Unfortunately real research-based answers are in short supply with rare conditions like MAC and even bronchiectasis, so it is a constant search for current best advice.

Who knew 4 years ago what a game-changer 7% saline could be for many of us - not a cure by any means, but when you can write, " I feel so good most days I think they must have all this wrong..." it sounds so good. Especially when the good days outnumber the bad ones!

Airway clearance for me many days means a drop or two of mucus - maybe because the saline and NAC are so effective? So I would not worry about it if I were you, unless you can feel the mucus rattling?

Have a great day, and thanks for brightening mine!
Sue
