Thinking about fiber, I just listened to Dr. Michael Greger's 5 minute snippet podcast about it.

Re-visiting fiber - A lot of vegan physicians recommend a whole foods diet with both soluble and insoluble fiber as more helpful than medications to reduce constipation and the subsequent straining that contributes to hemorrhoids, varicose veins, strokes, rectoceles, cystoceles, hernias and probably even more.

The ones I've discovered are Dr. Will Bulsiewicz, Dr. Michael Greger, Dr. John McDougall and Dr. Mark Hyman. What have others thought of these guys? Are there are others who have offered good simple suggestions?

The damage I have done to myself the past 60 years is largely irreversible, but it is good not to increase it.
