Pain and symptoms completely gone after 5 years of misery once I stopped Amlodipine. My lower legs only became excruciating only when prone trying to sleep, which meant I had little sleep and up most nights running in place to help a bit. I discovered the connection of Amlodipine on line although well known Corcoran meta analysis disavowed a connection. On the outlier chance I might be one of those affected, I stopped Amlodipine very very very slowly. And I am cured totally. ( I tried this because I asked myself why this question had been submitted for a well respected meta analysis study in the first place. DO NOT STOP YOUR AMLODIPINE without careful study and medical advice.

I found your comments about amlodipine very interesting. I've been on a low dose for several months and am now wondering if it might have something to do with my neuropathy which started about 3 months ago. It's certainly something I will look into and discuss with my doctor.
Thank you for letting us know about that connection. How was your blood pressure affected after completely leaving off the amlodopine?
