Clear Lungs, like the other non-antibiotic therapies, can help strengthen your lungs, so your body may be able to fight naturally, but in itself does not cure any bacteria of fungus.
Some of us have chosen to stop antibiotics due to side effects and try alternatives, but we must closely monitor our health and work with our doctors.
Also, I work with my primary provider to make sure none of the things I take will interfere with other meds or conditions. Clear Lungs contains a number of traditional Chinese medicine herbs which my doctor told me not to use for more than a few days.
I think from reading your posts that you are new to Mayo Connect and are trying to learn as much as you can. Please take your time, consult your doc, and don't try to start too many new treatments at once, especially if you are taking antibiotics or other prescribed medications. That way, if you have a bad reaction, you can more easily figure out what is causing it.
Can you tell us what infection you have?
Sue

Thank you Sue. I'm still new to this disease and Mayo Connect. I have Burkholderia cepecia bug which is resistant to many antibiotics. It was showing 3+ (sputum culture) in October and doctor gave me high dose Bactrim which made me very sick. Then, I had covid in Jan and I was so sick during those months. B cepecia was showing 2+ till March but no treatment. In May and June, it went down to 1+ and still no treatment. Doctor said it does not need to treat now but if I want to eradicate, I have to get an IV with PICC line plus oral. I'm afraid of PICC IV antibiotic having had bad experience with Bactrim. Not sure if IV antibiotic is stronger or not. I think I will get a vest this week and see how it goes. This B cepecia is very dangerous especially for CF patients.
