One side only - no explanation- Most of the problem was on the side that was removed. I am concerned if this may cause an unbalance. There is considerable new pain on the side with the hardware intact-may be unrelated to the hardware removal. Looking for causes. the original was many years ago.

@cdoq You may be interested in reading about Myofascial release which is done by a physical therapist. A PT is also a great resource to ask questions about any physical issue. I do MFR and it has helped me a lot overcoming tightness from surgical scars.

Are you currently working with a physical therapist?

I just had 2 screws removed on l4 l5 on right side. With a decompression. 19 days post op. Right side of back is ok but left side really hurting. He said they did deep cut in muscles and give it another couple weeks. My left side was perfect. Regret doing this so much. Worried about going back to my job.
