Very encouraging about the exercising helping your T scores. I've gone the exercise route (and diet and supplements), no meds yet, so far. Can you give an idea of the frequency and duration of your exercise routine? So far, since my osteoporosis Dx in May, I've been going with an exercise schedule goal something along the lines of:

- 30 min walk 5x/week
- 30+ min strength exercises 5x/week (static resistance (wall/floor), weights, and/or resistance bands)
- 30 min Balance long routine 2x/week
- 10 min Posture short routine 5x/week
- 1 hr senior yoga class 1x/week

Thanks in advance.

Hi @catluvr999, Looks like you never take meds. I have no data to tell that if never have meds to start with, would exercise works just as well. I’ll be happy to talk about the exercise I am taking. I’ll put it in a separate Discussion topic soon.

Hi @catluvr999, you might want to check out Dr. Loren Fishman's 12 Poses vs Osteoporosis and the work he's been doing at http://www.sciataca.org. You can also google 12 Poses algaecal and get video versions of the poses osteopenia, osteoporosis, and prevention (regular stances) versions of the poses.
