Hello @baz and welcome to Mayo Connect. Yes, we do have members who have dealt with this problem. As you can see, members are discussing both rectal and vaginal prolapse here. Just click on the link and you can read what others have posted. I would like to invite @ellen307 to this discussion as she has had surgery for both the vagina prolapse and rectal prolapse.

I see that you said that you are finally going to address this problem. If you care to share more, how long has this been a problem for you? As I assume you are considering surgery, what type of surgery has been recommended?

Hi I had surgery for Rectal prolapse and Vaginal prolapse April 8th, recovery has been
going very well. August 1st I having sling surgery in hopes it will stop the leaking of
urine.
I am going to PT for Pelvic floor exercise . Only on day 2 using ball between m y legs and
squeezing pelvic floor muscles. several other Im doing to help .
