My doctors had me try Cholestoff and also psyllium after statins and other medications for managing my cholesterol did not work. I have successfully recommended these to my own family members (we have familial hypercholesterolemia-family high cholesterol).

Thanks for mentioning this. Will check it out as I can't take statins and would like to see if I could lower cholesterol beyond what change in 'diet and exercise' have accomplished.
