I stopped taking a statin after reading they have negative effect on PN.
I have replaced it with citrus bergamot.

I have been reading good things about this supplement. Here is the most comprehensive information I found about studies. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6497409/#:~:text=Bergamot%20juice%20was%20found%20to,0.20%20in%20the%20hypercholesterolemic%20group.

This is a question I always ask about unregulated supplements. What form of bergamot are you using, and where are you getting it? Have you decided to concentrate on the polyphenol form or the flavenoids? Do you have diabetes?
