I had a hip replacement in 2016. I had 4 dislocations. In January of 2020, my surgeon decided to do a revision and I have had no problems since then . He finally decided that the degree of tilt to my lower back had changed and it was allowing the joint to slip out . I definitely understand the feeling of PTSD ! I think my kids may have it from hearing their mother screaming hysterically and the ambulance and fire truck showing up 4 separate times . (However I did develop quite a relationship with the fire department near our home ).
Sounds like it is time for your surgeon to consider doing something different or maybe you need another opinion altogether . Going through that over and over is not acceptable . I also do not think it is good for the tissues around the hip joint . It is a very traumatic situation all the way around . I hope this helps you .

Thanks, Im also tight with my ambulance crew at this point. Dislocated AGAIN last night but it slipped back into place, thankfully. I have a second opinion appointment tomorrow - fingers crossed.
