I am currently being worked up for peripheral neuropathy. I have an EMG Wednesday and see a neurologist in3 weeks. I am perusing the comments and
experiences of others as I move through this.

I'm glad to hear you have an upcoming appointment for an EMG and a followup with a neurologist. Do you mind sharing what symptoms you are having?

I had a EMG and had just a tiny stinging sensation during the procedure. It was easy for me. Mine was done by the neurologist and he was very good. If you relax, it should not bother you much.
