Hello, it is reassuring to hear that your implant is working well for you. I am having my Osia2 device configured and attached on July 13th and have great expectations. I am in an usual situation in as much as the ear which is being addressed partially works on occasion, for some reason there is some sort of allergic reaction going on in that ear. In spring it pretty much shuts down completely but then in July it comes back to life, unfortunately no one really seems to understand why. Have gone through allergy testing last and finding nothing it is confusing and frustrating. My only concern right now is what is my brain going to do with two signals coming at it from the left side? Hopefully it will be able to cope and make sense of it all.

I have partial hearing in my left ear, the same side my Osia device is on, and the two inputs mesh seamlessly. It is totally natural sounding. I don’t think you’ll have any trouble! I’m excited for you and hope all goes well!
