When the doctor puts the steroid into the disc they always should do it higher than the bad disc as it will go down to that space. Do you have a copy of your MRI? I would need more information to help you. This year I found out I also have lumber scoliosis and the neurologist said correcting it is a major surgery so I'm praying symptoms won't be for a long time
