I used to own a group home so my ears perked up when I saw an electric device in pad form that pulls urine from the pad. Does anyone know the brand name? - I’ve forgotten but will try to find it for you

It was Pure Wick but is for women :-(. I did see a pad I’m not familiar with called Quick Change where the pad wraps around the penis making changing easier on the caregiver. Good luck - I don’t think it will be long before I’m in your position with my husband (((hugs)))
