I think you misunderstood what I wrote. I was addressing the fact that doctors don't always know what, in my opinion at least, it seems as if they should know.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I just can't imagine how the several neurologists that I've seen over the last three years never mentioned the HU test or the paraneoplastic test that zooms in on looking for cancer cells in the blood telling us that I could have a cancerous tumor somewhere that were just not aware of yet. All these doctors know too that I've been battling skin cancer for 30 years and recently had a melanoma skin cancer cut off my neck 2 years ago yet they never mentioned either one of these two blood tests. I had to do the research myself and then push for them to do it.
