Being from Kyiv, this horrible war must weigh so heavily on your heart. My husband and I watch the news daily, gutted with emotion for what those poor people of Ukraine are going through. You must still have family there. Are they safe?

The war in Ukraine is constantly in my mind. I have a lot of friends who are there, both fighting and supporting people who are in need.
My brother and his family fled Ukraine a few days after the war began. They are still in Italy, waiting for all their paperwork to be processed. Can’t wait for them to be here in the US!
