What helped you make treatment decisions following DCIS lumpectomy?

I had to have 2 surgeries and then it came back that they did not get it all again. I decided to do a Mastectomy and I am lucky that I did. Because they would not have gotten it all.

I am glad you persisted even though that had to be a hard thing to go through. How are you doing now? Are you undergoing any other treatments?

I’m sorry you had to go through having three surgeries. I’m dealing with the same thing. I had two lumpectomies in April and now a mastectomy tomorrow. You have a wonderful attitude and perspective. I hope to emulate that. Thank you.
