Have you tried the new Protocol 525 product for neuropathy relief?
I have used the original version of the Protocol 525 product (https://theprotocolworks.com/) since 2016. I have idiopathic small fiber peripheral neuropathy with the only symptom being numbness in both legs. When I started taking the protocol, the numbness was just below my knees. After 2 months, the numbness seems to be just above the ankles which is subjective on my part with no additional testing. I do feel it is a win-win for me as my neuropathy has not progressed like I was told it would by the neurologist. I have continued taking the protocol in hopes that it may continue to roll back the numbness symptoms. I have noticed some new feeling in my feet in the last 2 months. Some feeling has returned to me feet and they seem to feel better lately although I still have the numbness – hard to describe the difference.
The Protocol 525 is not a cure for neuropathy. It treats the pain and discomfort symptoms of neuropathy without the drugs which have their own side effects. Have you tried the Protocol 525 or the original protocol? Did it help? If yes, how? If no, please share.
Note: I have no commercial investment in the protocol and I am sharing this information as someone who has found some degree of relief using this combination of supplements. I also discussed these supplements with my Mayo primary care team before I started taking them. The care team sent them to the pharmacist for review who did not have any major concerns for me taking them.

Have you been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy or another form of neuropathy?
I am considering ordering these supplements although a bit pricey if it prevents worsening neauropathy it is worth it. Am 69 with progressive numbness over past 6 years in toes, then feet, and now ankles. Luckily no pain. I currently do take ALA and B12. If anyone else has experience with this I would be interested to hear from them
Welcome@bb0753 - I only have the numbness with my small fiber PN and I take the protocol. All of us are a little different but I do believe it has helped me and slowed or stopped the progression. I shared my story in another discussion here - Member Neuropathy Journey Stories: What's Yours? - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/comment/310341/.
Definitely agree with you that it's lucky to not have any pain with the neuropathy. You mentioned you are currently taking ALA and B12 which are part of the protocol. I was taking them both before starting also. Have you made any other lifestyle changes - eating healthier, etc..?
Thanks for responding. I Try to avoid processed carbs and eat overall low carb diet mainly keto but often fall of the diet. I also avoid artificial sweeteners except stevia. Only weigh 119 so weight not issue.
I've got a 90 day shipment in that I won't be taking. Let me know if you're interesred for half price.
Can you explain why you are not taking it?
Can you explain why you aren't going to take it
I did a three month supply and didn't feel it helped me. Maybe I needed to take it longer. And I experienced a flare up with my SFN (hands and feet). I actually started gabapentin instead 4 weeks ago...300 mg 3 times a day. I'll stick with that. I might try the Protocol again in the future. But I do have an unused 90 day supply. Paid 550.00. Will sell it for 225.00, 5 weeks old.
Well I had already ordered the start up plus one month. If I decide to continue it I may contact you. Thanks for the offer.
