@apriljoy

I had tkr April 2017. So 5 years out and still burning pain. Original surgeon said nothing wrong looking at xrays. Went to another surgeon and he said same thing. He said if he does revision- afraid it will have same results. Went to 3rd surgeon and he said go back to original surgeon. I did and he said I should go to Pain Clinic. That Dr wanted me to have all the nerves in that knee deadened. Went to referring Dr and he said No! I don’t want to be on pain meds for the rest of my life. I’m not sure where to turn next. Maybe Mayo Clinic. I had partial knee replacement in 2018, and that knee is fine.

I have had a similar experience.
My TKR was Jan 2018. My mobility is good but the burning pain is always there.
I use ice packs 3 or 4 times a day and they help. Went to a pain specialist and he did some injections but no relief. I have had 2 nerve blocks also.
I am currently looking for a massage therapist that can do deep tissue massages.
Let us know if you find relief!
