Prolozone injections

I have been battling with sacroiliac joint disease for over 17 years. It can be very painful and neagatively impacts my quality of life. I was told there has been success treating SI joint pain with prolozone injections. The problem is I live very rurally in western NY, near the PA border. I have had no luck finding a provider who does prolozone injections, or quite honestly has even heard of them. I’ve looked online for providers as well, but nothing useful has come up in my searches. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to find a provider? Has anyone had this done for SI dysfunction or does anyone have any input when it comes to such injections?

Hello @frdunbar and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I can see you are motivated to explore the option of prolozone injections but seem to be hitting a roadblock with regard to finding someone.

Have you, by chance, asked for a referral?
