I don't think it ever goes away, but it has not advanced any and seems to be under control. It;a checked every few years automatically. I get an endo/Colonoscopy because I also ha non-Hodgkins Lymphoms which necessitated the surgical removal of the lower part of my small intestine. Be sure to check your B12 which omeprazole etc. can dampen the production of B12. I get regular shots of B12 in my arm.
