Hi, I have pain in my left butt cheek, it hurts and aches when I walk. No pain down the leg just pain in the middle of my butt. Feels better after I rest it for a few days, but comes right back when I walk at a brisk pace for exercise. Hurts when I rotate my leg inward orthopedic doc sending me for p.t. And m.r. i I’m not sure if it’s my back or hip or sciatica? Advil helps some. Not sure what the cause is. I’m frustrated!

Hi @ksm, Welcome to Connect. Your pain sounds similar to Piriformis Syndrome which hopefully PT will help.

"Piriformis syndrome is a condition in which the piriformis muscle, located in the buttock region, spasms and causes buttock pain.
