Mine was partially obstructing as well, so I had surgery first then chemo.

Please know that any type of obstruction can turn into a serious complication. I was told I couldn’t wait more than a month or so to have my surgery. In the meantime, I had to follow a very low residue diet. No fruit and vegetables. A partial obstruction can turn into a full obstruction, and thus an emergency
