They used this on me after my back fusion last year for a few days, with my permission. It was experimental, by an IV. I did have vivid dreams, no hallucinations though. My pain was so high I don’t know if it helped or not, but I did not notice any worsening when it was stopped!

Hi, my name is Doreen. I posted information about Ketamine in the Neuropathy group. I have used it since 2011 for nerve pain and other chronic pain issues. If they were giving you opiates or any other addictive meds for pain, the odds are about zero that it helped. Addictive meds of any type block the effects of Ket. I would think the physicians would be aware of this. If you try it again, please research it completely. A correct bladder protocol must be followed. Ket. is not bladder friendly. It is a known fact it destroys bladders. Since you only had it once you will be fine. I find the compounded nasal spray works well. Bladder protocol when using it too. It also come in Troche's and sublingual. Hoping and saying a prayer that you are pain free.
