I envy all of you who can ride bikes and go for walks. I can’t do either. I thank God I can drive or I’d never be able to leave the house. Neuropathy has gotten worse over 17 years but my knees are the big problem. One bad surgery and the other needs surgery but I’m too afraid after the first to pursue it and can’t find a good orthopedic doctor. 😟

Bonnie,
Like you, it's in my legs too. from the waist down. I can bend my legs but no strenght. My PT gal tells me my quads are too week from months of little use. My spinchner mussel is week which has been a problem too. l blame my ED on this too.

My knees are bad and they want to do Total Knee Replacements! My feet have Neuropathy and Arthritis. Also I have Lymphedema is both legs. I am 79 yrs old and can walk with a cane but both of my whole legs just ache. I swim, which helps for the day but now my feet hurt real bad getting out of the Pools steps. Yes, my balance has been off for 5 years, had some bad falls but didn’t break anything. Doctors didn’t know what was wrong with me. Then last year Mayo Clinic Neurologist said I am going to find out what is wrong with your legs. I don’t have Diabetes so no doctors checked for Neuropathy. The tests showed the Neuropathy and severe Arthritis. He sent me to an Orthopedic Surgeon who said he couldn’t do surgery. But he scared me saying some drastic things. I don’t understand why they would want to do knee replacements and if I got an infection I could loose my feet!
