how much of an improvement did you see? Can you tell us the actual numbers or how much % improvement did you get? How much strength improvement did you see too? Were you able to lift heavier weights? The official numbers the drug company gives seem like very minor improvements like 10%. I am trying to consider the real benefits considering you are taking on the risks of stroke, etc. Thanks in advance for sharing.

anybody else who has taken Evenity, please feel free to answer. I would like to know how much improvement in bone density readings you got? Thanks

I don't feel like hunting it up. My doctor was pleased. I am still in the bone density indicating Osteoporosis, But since I'd been getting less and less bone density through the years, I was glad to stop the decrease and turn in the other direction. However, I continue with all the cautions. I hadn't been doing weights before. Now I use 5# ankle weights and 3# hand weights (I started with 1 1/2#s about a year ago.) It's been over a year since Evenity and I went onto Prolia after Evenity. I don't get another Dexascan until the fall and that I hope shows more improvements. That will be 2 years after going off Evenity. I started Nutritarian eating about a month ago, have lost 5 pounds and feel better nourished than I ever have in my life. Dr. Fuhrman's book "End of Heart Disease" made some reference that research shows benefits from Nutritarian style eating for Osteoporosis as well, so you could check that out to see if it appeals.

It's a hard decision. I postponed for about 8 years after I ignored the first Fosamax suggestion I was given by a doctor. If you get quiet and ask your body what it wants, you may feel the answer you need.
