Hi Kathleen,
I moved your follow-up question to the discussion you originally started about glutathione
- Glutathione: What dosage do you use? Where do you get it? https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/mac-abscessus-bronchiectasis-and-aspergillus-glutathione/

I did this so you can reconnect with @nannette @wolfplanetzero and others. I'm also tagging @onamission @glendamoseley1 @dc1950, who have mentioned using or asking about glutathione.

Quoting @sueinmn from another related discussion here: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/comment/612379/

"Glutathione and NAC are closely related, and I cannot find any definitive information, but would conclude from my reading that use of both is unnecessary as NAC converts to glutathione in the liver as it is digested. I did find a couple of cautions stating that use can lead to elevated magnesium levels, low blood pressure, decreased clotting after surgery, altered effectiveness of diabetes and heart meds."

This study looks like it helps explain the relationship between NAC and glutathione.

Thank you so much Colleen! I'm still learning and figuring out how to use this platform. All assistance is appreciated!!
I did search around for info and remarks on the glutathione. It's confusing as some swear by it and others opposed. The functional medicine doctors seem to like it. Pulmonary docs do not. Difficult decisions! Thanks again Colleen!
