Thanks for acknowledging my persistence.
The first day of class at the Master's level, the professor was giving a hard-core message, "This is a rigorous program...if you have problems, drop out and wait until they're resolved...'
After class, I approached her and said, "If I wait for my problems to be resolved, I'll never earn my Master's."
I graduated 12/12/1998. My family was there, except for my mom. Earlier that year, she had surgery to repair an Abdominal aneurysm and was too fatigued.
I'd still be waiting...lol
Persistence is a part of my life.

Oh, @audriana, I just love your comment to the professor. Three cheers for your resolve and obtaining your Masters Degree!

I agree, if I had waited until I resolved all of my problems before I ever took a step forward, I would be sitting on the couch still trying to figure things out without making any progress at all!

You remind me that "courage is not the absence of fear, but the willingness to face fear and go on."
