I am 80 years old and had a lumpectomy, chemo and radiation just this last year. I don't want to take anti-estrogens, so I'm not. I am HER2positive.
My surgeon told me to start having a plant based diet. Thank you for the above information.

If you watch Forks over knives and read The China Study you will understand the science that proves the value of Plant Based eating. If you need more references let me know

@raebaby why aren't you taking anti-estrogens? I took letrozole for 5 years and didn't have too many problems. What are you taking for the HER2+?
I know two people who used a dietary approach to cancer and, I hate to say it, they did not do well. Diet can possibly help, but should probably not be relied on alone. Did your doctor encourage using a plant based diet as the only treatment?
