Iron Depletion in Blood related to COVID?

@butterfly12

Hi, Im 37 and I received the AZ vaccine and the Pfizer booster.
I had been feeling severely fatigued since the vaccine, just doing normal activities like taking my dog on a short walk left me feeling like I needed to sleep, so I went to the doctors. After having a blood test, my iron levels were shown to be below the scale for ‘normal’ and the doctor referred to this as iron depletion so prescribed me some liquid iron tablets.
A year earlier I had very healthy levels of iron, recorded by my doctor and I have not experienced any change in my life since then which I can link to this I.e diet, or stresses at work etc
By complete chance and without discussing this with anyone, I was sitting next to someone on a plane journey and we started a conversation and he started to describing that since the vaccine he had been to the doctors and had been told he had low iron levels and issues with memory which prompted my research online. Possibly this all a complete coincidence but im searching for an explanation because I desperately would like to refind my energy levels.

I also had AZ, first dose, then Pfizer and Pfizer booster.

Same issues here I had Pfizer, will not take boosters. Wish someone would really investigate this.

Me too. I have had a sinus infection going on 3 weeks, the low iron is making it most difficult to kick it.
