What's your review of Cochlear Osia 2 System?

Thank you! I have all the same apprehensions as you did. So happy that they were unfounded and that you're happy with how everything turned out. My operation was last Tues and everything went well. Looking forward to my follow up appt to see exactly where the implant is located! Obviously I know basically where it is but not sure where exactly the magnet is. Ha!

Your wound looks GREAT to just be a week past surgery. Based on my own experience, the larger, swollen area at the bottom (about mid-ear) is where the vibrating mechanism of the implant is located and your magnet will be above that. My pics might help you guesstimate where your magnet is.
In my first picture (the wound), the mid-ear section looks like yours--it's protrudes more than the other areas. Then in the second image, you can see that my magnet pad and sound processor are above that.
