@johnsilberman

I have had 5 knee replacements in 5 years. Three in left knee and two in right. My last TKA was a two stage revision caused by an infection from my second TKA. The second TKA was a ceramic revision because I was allergic to the nickel alloy in my 1st TKA which has to be taken replaced.
In regard to burning pain. I have developed a continuous burning pain above my patella and below my quad tendon! on both legs. It is brutal. The Dr’a don’t know. It has ruined the quality of my life. I don’t know what to do. This is my first day on this site.

Welcome @johnsilberman, I know it must be really hard not knowing what to do when you are in so much pain. @janicemmccarthy mentioned tendonitis in her knee after a TKR in another discussion here - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/tendonitis-in-knee-after-tkr-in-january-of-2020/

Here is an article that talks about tendinopathy that sounds similar to what you may be going through.
-- Arthroscopic Management of Popliteal Tendon Dysfunction in Total Knee Arthroplasty: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4722494/

I'm wondering if a orthopedic sports medicine doctor might be able to offer some suggestions. Have you thought about seeking help at a major teaching hospital or health facility like Mayo Clinic?
