Hydronephrosis: Might there be an underlying issue?

I have had 2 CT scans with contrast in past 4 months and they are not seeing where any obstruction is. Also had 2 renal scans with Lasix and nothing shows on that either. I am in terrible pain. Nothing seems to help and have tried all things mentioned.

@kelly223 Gosh, it all sounds so uncomfortable. I am not a doctor, and don't even "play one on TV".

If I was in your shoes, I would start by writing down when this flank pain started, and the symptoms you are experiencing [time/activity/intensity]. Have they checked for a kidney infection or kidney stones? I had one several years back, that a substitute dr had pooh-poohed, telling me my flank pain "couldn't be your kidneys, they don't hurt"! They did a urine culture and found the bacteria count very high. A home remedy my father [who was subject to kidney stones] and I have done, is cranberry juice cut with water, to help change the pH.
