I can understand how you feel. I am so sorry you've had such a bad time after your operation. I am moving into a hip replacement operation after many years of putting it off because I was scared. Either that it wouldn't work, or that the surgeon wouldn't be good. I'm still not happy about having it, I know there are chances to be taken, but the pain is so bad that I cannot function much. I'm not looking forward to rehab. But -- all I can do is hope and pray I get the right person to do the job. I like him so far but I'm not totally satisfied with his office. However, he has a fabulous reputation. There aren't too many choices except to look for the best treatment you can get. (After the hip replacement I will probably get a knee replacement, another thing I've been putting off. Again - the only thing I'm looking forward to in these operations is that my ability to move is better with much less pain.)
