I have Ketamine nose spray but it did nothing for my NDPH. Doctor wants me to do in-patient IV of it for 5 days but I refused. I'm 75 and I don't want the side effects. A friend did it and she said the hallucinations were awful. Plus, it's not permanent. Insurance will pay after your co-pays i think,

I had ketamine while doctors tried to straighten up my ankle ( dislocated and broken in 3 places). It was awful. The hallucinations were as bad as the pain. I'm 67 and this was 2 years ago.

My husband tried out-patient Ketamine treatments (4 days with 4 hour treatments each day) for his NDPH last year. He didn't feel any pain while on the treatment, but afterwards it was back to the normal pain.

I understand that some people to have good results with the treatment though.
