@gbippy - This happened to me the last time I was on Ciprofloxacin. It was my "go to" medicine for infections last year and I was using it frequently. I had an exacerbation right after Thanksgiving so was on 875mgs 2xday for 14 days. That didn't kick it out so I went in the hospital and was on a stronger IV dose. I had foot and ankle pain and shooting pains that I thought could be neuropathy although I don't have much understanding of that disease. I finished up my meds mid-January and it took about 6 weeks before my feet returned to normal with no achiness or pain. I was very careful not to work out or do yoga or anything else that might compromise the tendons or ligaments because that is what these meds attack with their side effects. I hope that yours will go away soon as well. @lindam272

Hi Linda, I am on Macroid for a UTI and get horrible shooting pain thru my legs and feet and especially toes. I also take two big meds for my Mac infection of 5 years. Best to you, Barb May
