Post recovery Nissen fundiplication
Surgery in September 2021 went well, one month later had chest back and shoulder pain and reflux returned to my throat and mouth. Surgeon said return back to protonix 40 mg twice daily. By November no change. December had chest and abdominal ct with nothing to show. My cardiologist has eliminated cardio issues for the chest pain.

Is this problem medical or surgical
Still don’t have an answer on my gastric emptying study. However after surgery still have severe chest pain which is a side effect
My gastroenterologist has no idea about the gastric emptying. He found nothing on endoscopy and has no further ideas. This problem was noticed after Nissen fundiplication surgery
Additional info all during this time, I have unusual gurgling stomach noises never had before
Try eliminating all dairy for a month. I had the operation and 10 years later I had the same symptoms. After a year of all sorts of tests the doctor told me to atop all dairy products and it solved most of the issues.
