I have just been diagnosed with this disease, I have 11 times more protein in my blood then I should. I am wondering if anyone has had this type of blood test. They believe that this is the source of my neuropathy. I also suffer from chronic pain and take pain medication, this of course does not help with my issues with my ankles and feet. Any thoughts ?

Welcome @dkappel, I'm not familiar with protein levels in blood tests and what they mean but the Neuropathy Commons site does give a comprehensive explanation of Blood Tests To Identify Medical Causes of Neuropathy: https://neuropathycommons.org/get-tested/blood-tests

Did your doctor provide any thoughts or suggested treatments for the high protein levels in your blood test?
