This sounds much like what I go through. I was diagnosed with angioedema. Also get face swelling, hives, and itching. I take a daily antihistamine. When I was first diagnosed I also was given Prednisone and Benadryl to get the swelling under control. It is always there at the surface but is better some days and worse others.
