Well looks like I'm going through the same issue. I'm 40 years old and last year I was diagnosed with uterine fibroids and a simple ovarian cyst. Last time I had my period was on March 12th. I had unprotected sex on March 20th and ending of March I started to feel nauseous and frequent urination. My doctor said it was a startupof an UTI but I'm still having nausea, increase sense of smell, dizziness, headaches, lightheadedness, lower back pain, tender/sore breasts, increase of appetite, growing hard upper & lower belly, I have tingling sensation on my lower belly and I keep craving ice cream, salty food and spicy food.
My period was due on April 5 but I spotted on April 8-10 and it was off and on brown red. I was then due again on April 29 but spotted on May 2-4 off and on brown red. Again my cycle was due on May 23 but spotted on May 26 and 27 off and on brown red. I took a blood test on May 8 and it was negative. I feel pressure at and around my belly button and my waistline has thicken. Am I pregnant?

@esteya76 Thank you for your post and welcome to Mayo Connect. I can understand your concern. Have you been to the doctor recently? At Mayo Connect we cannot provide diagnosis, we can only offer encouragement and support. In that manner, I feel that you need to have another discussion with your doctor. You said that you took a blood test on May 8 and the results were negative. If you are comfortable sharing more information, please let us know if this blood test was to confirm pregnancy or some other type of test.

We wish you well as you seek answers to your questions and concerns. We are here to support you. Teresa

It was to confirm pregnancy and sti's which resulted as negative. As well I also got tested for lupus and that tested positive. I will be seeing my doctor again on june 14.

@esteya76 I'm glad to hear that you are following up with your doctor. It sounds like you will eventually get to the root of your problem. Keep in touch and share your concerns, we are here for support and encouragement when you need it. Best wishes for a good weekend. Teresa
