Thank you so much for the Vitamin C suggestion!! I have very similar symptoms with no answer. I used to have horrible acid reflux and GI put me on PPIs too. 2 years ago I found out acid reflux is actually usually caused by low acid. That lead me to research causes of low acid. Thyroid is one of the main things that causes acid reflux, constipation, brain fog, etc. You can have thyroid issues even when thyroid blood tests are "normal". The amount of thyroid hormones that regular drs say we need is usually not enough. You have to go to a holistic dr. Also get reverse t3 tested. Not all holistic drs do it you have to specify and ask.

I had my vitamin levels tested at a health food store. My vitamin C was low. I looked up vitamin C deficiency and toxicity symptoms. I read that too much vitamin C causes diarrhea. Since then I wanted to overdose on vitamin C but wasnt sure how.

Are you still experiencing symptoms?

Also you mentioned toxins. Heavy metal toxicity causes chronic constipation, brain fog, acid reflux, hormone imbalance, thyroid issues, etc. It is hard to find a dr who treats it. Blood tests do not accurately reflect how much metals are in your body. Urine tests are more accurate and bone tests are most accurate. Unfortunately, holistic drs that do urine tests and clinics that do bone tests do not accept insurance. I cannot afford to see them. However, sometimes regular primary drs will do a metal urine test.
