Hello, so I was just diagnosed with hashimotis. What kinda Dr should I see? Some say a functional Dr. Then others say a endocrinologist. I also have epilepsy and have VNS. Implant. I have had it going on 7 years. I’ve read that thyroid is very close to the vegus nerve. Also has anyone had success with taking natural iodine for thyroid problems?

Jade, I agree with @upartist that you may wish to consult with an endocrinologist. You may wish to get a referral from your neurologist.
