Anthony, the short answer is that stem cell therapy is in the research phase for the treatment of COPD.
Stem cell therapy (regenerative medicine) has the potential to provide innovative new therapies for people with lung diseases, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). End stage COPD is treated today with medications or lung transplants.
Beware of websites that offer stem cell therapy as a cure. There are scams out there.
