Bruise on breast, freaking out.

I've felt better this past week! I just received my results today. It says "The radiologist's report has been sent to your doctor indicating the results of the study are within normal limits but suggests you contact your doctor for further evaluation and their recommendations for follow-up.". It's the weekend so I won't be able to reach out until Monday. Does anyone know if it's normal for me to be told to reach out to my doctor?

@queenlala101 Just what you didn't want to hear on a Friday afternoon, right?! While it sounds scary, the report is from the radiologist, who is responsible for reading the exam done on you. That person will not and doesn't have the authority to steer you to the next step. That is your doctor's responsibility. Being within normal limits is a good thing. In my experience, several times the radiologist has said that.

Your doctor will hopefully review everything with you, and suggest a course of action. Watching for continued/further symptoms, perhaps. Keep up your journal of what you experience, so it won't be overwhelming, plus it will get the big concerns out of your head.

Do something fun this weekend, take time for yourself! What might that be?
