Outside our windows, Spring is trying mightily to take hold! Last night it dropped to 30 degrees again, though.

This week we have had doves, scrubjays, robins, songbirds, wild geese, turkey vultures, and eagles. The most surprising is the little flock of the fattest quail i have ever seen running around. Usually we see them a bit later in the season. I tell you, they look like giant softballs with legs, they are so big! In addition to this, the trees are leafing out. Our cherry trees [3 different kinds] have three different colored buds on them. And of course, weeds galore.

Love watching those critters frolic!
