I live in India. I would love to listen to it if you send the link
@shaila1902 The video link was just added. Sorry for the delay. I would love to hear what you found most helpful from the recorded webinar.
When I try to play the video it says the content is blocked. Anyone know how to get it to play?
The fatigue webinar made me cry-. After being treated at Mayo for 3 years for stage 4 lung cancer, NO ONE has explained, described, talked about or did anything to help as much as this webinar did. Sorry, but WTHeck 🤦♀️. It boggles my mind to think of the inconsideration and thoughtlessness of doctors who can’t offer help or relativity to their patients.
The video was wonderful. Covered every aspect and very practical suggestions. And feels good to know all these things are not just my imagination but part of the illness and what I can do to overcome them. P
A big thank you to the doctors who made this . A must watch for all cancer patients.
Hi @juliepost99 I am not sure why it isn't playing? The video is a public video so all should be able to view it. Are you trying to watch on a work computer? Wondering if the content is being blocked for some reason? Please let me know if you are still unable to view. @muradangie
@carlies I am so sorry that you were unable to get answers about fatigue that you are experiencing. What is something you will put into practice to help manage your fatigue?
Trying to eat more nutritious food - instead of just the food I'm hungry for. Just hearing the comments made me feel like I'm not losing my mind?! Or that I am not alone?! Or that others feel this way and unfortunately it is 'normal'?! NO ONE (onco docs) have done anything to reassure me. The doc mostly listens and looks at me without comment-?!
I did not have chemotherapy but have had a few days with very little energy. I attributed it to the cancer which, to my knowledge has not spread though the doctor told me it is metastatic cancer. Has anyone else experienced this?
My personal experience is not dissimilar to that of being, "kind of pregnant." You Are or you are Not. You have either had cancer or you have not. If you have had cancer then and only then do you understand the treatment-related side effects of fatigue. It is a fatigue that is chronic, a feeling of being, "worn out" each and every day. I have gotten used to yawning all day, every day, and am at peace knowing that a nap is not and will never be a "cure".
