I started getting stomach pain at the age of 15, I thought it was just a diet issue so I fixed that but my pain increased, I wouldn’t eat the entire day and just drink water until I got home at 14:00 and would proceed to binge eat . Then the anxiety and depression hit and I forced myself to eat in the morning so i wouldn’t be in pain, we went to the doctor she gave me anti anxiety meds and anti inflammatory meds for the course of 6 months I did that but the pain was still there and the meds weren’t helping anymore so I left school so the anxiety would decrease and got a gastroscope And they took a biopsy and found no irritation at all in my stomach, “apparently due to the stress I released adrenaline acid into my stomach when I didn’t eat and the combination of water destroyed my stomach lining “ that’s what I had been told along time before I got the biopsy and now that “I had no irritation in my stomach “ we just gave up and I had to live with the pain and it’s only really triggered by stress and two/ three hours without eating . When I eat an excess of one specific food I get allergic to it and my stomach just is in excruciating pain, bowl movement fluctuate some days they are good and some days they aren’t.Never has blood involved and I don’t think I have any ulcers. Joint pain became an issue about 3 years ago (17) . I just need some help finding direction because I have a strong feeling this is chronic and I cannot go any longer without treating it.

Hi @biancaashleybonser and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. You will see that I moved your post to a discussion that closely relates to what you are describing. Thought you would like to connect with other people going through something similar like @whattodo, and @mmoss
Have you considered going to a multi-disciplinary hospital like Mayo to get multiple views of the same issue?
